Protection of Title: 

No person other than a member shall use the title “Licensed Assessment Appraiser of Saskatchewan”, the abbreviation “L.A.A.S.”, or any word, title or designation, abbreviated or otherwise, to imply that the person is a member.

Legislation in Saskatchewan requires persons that prepare assessments to be licensed with the Saskatchewan Assessment Appraisers' Association (SAAA).  The SAAA is responsible for the governance of these individuals.  A copy of The Assessment Appraisers Act is found here.

WELCOME

The Saskatchewan Assessment Appraisers' Association (SAAA) is a professional Association of Saskatchewan-based property assessment professionals.  The SAAA was legislated as a self-governing body in November 2002.  We are an association that focuses on our membership who have an interest in property assessment valuation.  Our members consist primarily of professional appraisers who either hold licenses to practice assessment or are striving towards obtaining their accreditation.

The Licensed Assessment Appraiser of Saskatchewan (LAAS) designation is recognized as a license required to practice assessment in Saskatchewan.
